  • B Fleet Racing Saturday August 17th/31st and September 14th/28th

    We have a keen team of racers every Sunday morning, but if some of you don't feel ready for the more structured and serious racing, why not try joining in with the "B Fleet" and build up your confidence. This is light-hearted racing, open to all and usually just one lap, depending on weather conditions. The main challenge is getting round the course!! All the races take place on Saturday

  • Junior Fleet Wednesday August 7th/14th/21st/28th

    We are continuing to run our successful Junior Fleet every Wednesday afternoon in August between 1-4pm. Youngsters up to the age of 16 years can join these sessions, which give them the opportunity and confidence to practice and improve their sailing skills, plus gain RYA qualifications.   • Training and Activity Weekend at HCYC Saturday 6th and Sunday 7th July

    This weekend the 6th and 7th of July we have a Training and Activity Weekend at HCYC. Liz, our Senior Instructor, has been busy contacting everyone who has expressed an interest in training. RYA training will be running on both days and our club Omega 'Roz' will be tied up for training all day Saturday. On Sunday there will be club racing in the morning, while our trainees cover theory and rigging

    Activity and Training Weekend

    On 8th and 9th June we are running the first training for beginner adults and kids. This is all weekend, including on Sunday we will have at 14:00 Beginners Races, then at 14:45 Devon Cream Teas and wrapping up with the fantastic HCYC DUCK RACE about 15:30.

    Linda Pargeter is a trustee of the Wherry Maud Trust and regularly gives talks to tell people about the Norfolk Wherries and their historic and cultural role in Norfolk.
