RYA Safety Boat Course (PB2 is a pre-requisite) £150

18th - 19 October  ·  HCYC Stansted Abbots

This two day course (09:15-16:45) is highly practical teaching the skills needed for providing safety and support cover for a variety of craft including single and double hander dinghies, kayaks, canoe, SUP, Windsurf. It focuses on rescue techniques, boat handling, communication, race management elements and preparing and recovering a safety boat.  Please bring suitable clothing for the weather, you may be required to enter the water (if you have dry suits) but not essential. RYA Power Boat level 2 is a pre-requisite for this course.

This course is run at HCYC by Liz Brad and Richard as RYA Power boat Instrucotes using our tiller boats and Brads rib for which a charge will be made. Fuel costs, refreshments and RYA Books and certificates will be an expense.

Please email Liz on liz@color-board.co.uk so that I can keep you informed before the course start date. I will need a copy of your PB 2 Certificate for our records.
