    Sunday 23rd September Ray Parish Trophy Race

    Our September programme of events has been given a make over. There will no longer be an Activity/Training weekend at the beginning of September...... but.... We have rescheduled the Endurance Race (postponed a few weeks ago due to bad weather) to link with the Ray Parish Event on Sunday September 23 rd . The Endurance Race will be from 10:30-1:30pm. It

  • Mid-Summer Event Saturday 21st July

    The perfect way to spend a Summer's afternoon/evening! Join us for our usual social sailing on Saturday afternoon 21 st July, followed by a BBQ around 5:30pm ably cooked by club member Chris, (a professional chef no less) and then the big finale....a "Boules" competition organised by Monsieur Geoff et son ami Paul.   • ACTIVITY /TRAINING WEEKEND this coming Sat/Sun July7th/8th

    Following on from our our very successful weekend in June, we are having a second ACTIVITY /TRAINING WEEKEND this coming Sat/Sun July7th/8th This weekend is open to ALL HCYC members. It is an opportunity for us to provide training for our new recruits and welcome established members to have fun and refresh their sailing skills.   • Evening Talk “Get Knotted” and BBQ Wednesday May 23rd

    Following last years very successful Social Event HCYC member Ian Meaden has once again volunteered to give an "Apres Sail" talk on 23 rd May, after our Wednesday Social Sailing. He will be entertaining us with a talk and yarns on knots and knotting! As some of you will know, Ian keenly supports the "Parkinson's UK Charity". To help raise a few funds for this charity, we will be organising a BBQ

    Come and Try Sailing Day also known as PTBO (Push the Boat Out) Saturday May 12th

    This is a very important day in our calendar. On this day we open the club to the public to come and try sailing for free and hopefully gain some new members.   • Fish and Chip Fitting Out Supper with Quiz Friday 27th April at 7pm £8 per person (cash in advance)

    Join us for one of Mrs Clark's famous quizzes and enjoy a tasty Fish and Chip Supper to mark the beginning of our sailing season (though some hardened sailors sail throughout the year....unless the weather is really awful!).   • Powerboat Level 2 - April 2018

  • Evening Talk with Fish and Chip Supper Wednesday March 7th 7pm (meal 7:15pm) £10 per person (limited spaces)

    Come and join us for a Fish and Chip Supper, followed by a talk by our Guest Speaker, Andy Malcolm, from the Fisherman's Mission. He will tell us about the important work of this well established charity and the history and trivia of fish and chips, along with some sea shanties, poetry and a quick quiz! A very entertaining evening. Please arrive between 6:45 and 7pm.
