  • Powerboat Level 2 - April 2018

  • Christmas Pudding Race and Social Sunday December 17th

    Our traditional Christmas Pudding Race and Social takes place the weekend before Christmas. As well as a prize for winning the race, we also give one for the best decorated previous years we have had Christmas trees on the bow and lots of tinsel! The race for the pudding, is at 11:00 followed by complimentary mince pies and sausage rolls accompanied by some Christmas jollities.....a raffle, Christmas jokes and brainteasers....come and see! will

  • RNLI Quiz with Fish and Chip Supper (£12 a head) Friday November 3rd

    Over the last couple of years we have attended the RNLI Quiz in Hatfield and enjoyed a sociable evening testing our brain skills, boosted by a Fish and Chip Supper.   • Ray Parish Trophy Sunday 10th September

    In Memory of our ex Vice Commodore, the flamboyant Mr Ray Parish, we are holding a 2 hour Endurance Race starting 10:30 in Pursuit Race Format. Please arrive at 09:30 when Joyce C will be serving Bacon Butties until 14:00. Teams will comprise of 4 persons in 2 hander sloops.     Activity Weekend August 5th/6th

    We will be running a Start Sailing Course over two days. On Saturday at 11am Jim (our sailing secretary), is running a "Sailing with Spinnakers" Session. This can be for anybody.... even those already proficient . We will have a kids Oppi/Topper session Saturday at 11am and our DUCK RACE on Sunday about 14:30.     Activity/Training Weekend at HCYC Saturday June10th/Sunday 11th

    HCYC members are invited to come and join in the fun on our first of four Activity/Training Weekends this Summer. There will be Training on both days ( this needs to be booked with the Commodore beforehand) and we are also having a Saturday Night BBQ (5:30pm). Please bring your own food to cook and beverages to drink though tea/coffee/soft drinks will be available at the usual charge.

  • Après Sail Ship Talk and BBQ Wednesday 24th May BBQ 6pm Talk 7:30pm
