This is a fantastic way to get used to sailing with other boats and to improve your sailing skills around small courses. This is based around informal racing with very simplified rules. We run this alternate Saturdays for much of the year. Experienced sailors will be on hand to offer their expertise & to help you get the most of your sailing. The club is mostly shut down in accordance with Tier 4 regulations. Members may access their boats and the slipways for recreational sailing but be aware that there is no support available. Sadly we cannot have any social gatherings or organised events at the club.

Wey-hey... the club is open again! Members are welcome to visit and to sail. We continue to maintain a COVID-safe environment which means that shared indoor areas, including the changing rooms and clubhouse, remain closed.

In line with the new national restrictions in England from 5 November, and guidance from the RYA, the club is closed until 2nd December. Please do not visit the club.

Everyone must check-in when visiting the club. This is to support NHS Test and Trace requirements. Sign-in using the app or in writing. Sailing is allowed, but all buildings remain closed except toilets. There are no changing facilities on site, so come prepared. On Sunday mornings there is informal racing 'round the cans' - just turn up.
